The bladeRF 2.0 micro xA9 THERMAL is a next‑generation software defined radio (SDR) covering 47MHz to 6GHz with a 61.44MSPS sampling rate and full 2×2 MIMO. Designed for serious RF developers, researchers, and wireless security professionals, it combines wideband performance, low latency USB 3.0 connectivity, and a thermally enhanced RF shield for demanding environments.

At its core, the bladeRF 2.0 micro xA9 integrates an Analog Devices AD9361 wideband RF transceiver, a Cyclone V xA9 FPGA (≈301kLE, ≈292kLE user‑programmable), and a Cypress FX3 USB 3.0 controller. This architecture enables high‑throughput, real‑time baseband processing and is ideal for implementing custom modems, 4G/5G physical layers, GNSS experimentation, spectrum analysis, and more. The RF shield can both reduce EMI and improve thermal dissipation, ensuring stable operation at high duty cycles.
