I am interested in the Hackrf with portapack h4c, however I would like to ask a question since the device suffer from the following: The HackRF One, while versatile for software-defined radio applications, has a known issue where the RF amplifier can be damaged by excessive power, especially when transmitting at lower frequencies. Specifically, a slight arc (presumably from an antenna) can lead to overheating and potentially burn out the amplifier chip. This is more likely to occur when transmitting below 100 MHz with the amplifier enabled. So in this model is it modified to against the above.

Just: 1.Insert the FAT32 microSD card 2.From the Mayhem menu select the POCSAG app 3.Tune to your pager frequency in NFM, set RF/audio gain 4.Pick the correct baud (512/1200/2400) and polarity No extra hardware or downloads required.

Advantages

Product came, was perfectly fine. No custom costs or anything (in eu). But I have to say, the Service ist very good! I needed this product for a project and the customer support was so helpful, friendly and especially fast! I had one of the best customer service experiences ever until now in my life! I was honestly not so sure about this website.. but i am super happy withe the whole customer experience! Thank you so much again for your fast responses to mails!

Disadvantages

My shipment took 3 days longer to ship BUT customer support instantly informed me beforehand , as soon as they knew and asked me if the delay was acceptable. They were very open, polite and generally very nice! Realy appreciated all your behavior in my order process!
