The LILYGO TTGO T-SIM7070G is a compact and efficient development board designed for IoT and low-power wide-area network (LPWA) applications. Powered by an ESP32 MCU and the SIM7070G module, it supports Cat-M, Cat-NB, GPRS, and EDGE networks, making it suitable for global IoT deployments where low power consumption and reliable connectivity are essential.
This board features WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2 for additional wireless connectivity options. It includes 4MB Flash and 4MB PSRAM for smooth multitasking and data handling. The device supports multiple peripheral interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, SDIO, I2S, and CAN, providing flexibility for sensor integration and communication.
The SIM7070G module supports a wide range of frequency bands for Cat-M and Cat-NB, ensuring compatibility with various global networks. It also includes GNSS support for BeiDou, GPS, and GLONASS positioning. The board operates on a supply voltage of 3.2 to 4.2V and has a compact form factor of 24 x 24 x 2.6 mm.
Note that SIM7070G does not support 4G networks, and positioning and cellular communication cannot be used simultaneously. Users should disconnect the network when positioning and turn off GPS when connecting to the network.
