Description

The LibreVNA 2.0 Upgraded Version is a USB-based full 2-port vector network analyzer covering 100kHz to 6GHz, designed by Jankae for serious RF development, antenna tuning, and lab-grade measurements in a compact form. Using three simultaneous ADC channels and FPGA signal processing, it can capture over 10,000 dual-port points in under one second, providing fast, high-resolution S-parameter sweeps on your PC.

With an ultra-low-noise power design, 16‑bit ADCs, and a precision CNC aluminum shielded enclosure, LibreVNA 2.0 achieves an effective dynamic range of up to 95dB to 3GHz and usable performance to 6GHz. It measures full S11, S21, S12, S22 parameters and supports calibration for accurate characterization of filters, amplifiers, antennas, cables, and matching networks. Despite its compact size, many aspects are comparable to benchtop VNAs, making it an excellent tool for RF labs, field engineers, and advanced hobbyists.

Performance Notes

  • Due to structural limits, S12 isolation is about 10dB worse than S21.
  • Above 3GHz, performance gradually decreases; port isolation is about 50dB at 6GHz.
  • Below 1MHz, dynamic range drops; effective dynamic range is about 70dB at 100kHz.
  • Higher-accuracy calibration standards improve measurement precision.
