The DSTIKE AI Home Security Sidekick Lite is the ultra-compact USB version of the DSTIKE AI Home Security Sidekick Eve. Designed as a plug-and-play ESP32-S3 network monitoring companion, it brings AI-style desktop interaction, Wi-Fi security awareness, deauth detection, and a 1.3-inch color display into a lightweight USB-A dongle form factor.
This Lite version removes the larger enclosure, built-in high-capacity battery, and camera from the original Sidekick model. Instead, it is powered directly through a standard USB port, making it ideal for 24/7 desktop use, smart home monitoring, router-side installation, and cybersecurity learning environments.
Compact USB-A Plug-and-Play Design
The Sidekick Lite integrates a standard USB-A male connector, allowing it to draw power directly from a computer, USB power adapter, router USB port, or USB outlet. There is no battery to charge and no separate power cable required, making it simple to deploy as a small always-on network awareness device.
Wi-Fi Deauth Detection and Network Security Awareness
Powered by the ESP32-S3 wireless platform, the device can analyze 802.11 management frame activity and provide real-time alerts when suspicious Wi-Fi deauthentication behavior is detected. This makes it useful for home network awareness, IoT security education, and learning how Wi-Fi disruption attempts can affect connected devices.
