This HackRF Pro R1.2.1 with PortaPack H4M Pro Mayhem Signature Edition is a portable wideband SDR transceiver bundle designed for advanced signal analysis, RF testing, field operation, and SDR experimentation. It combines the upgraded HackRF Pro hardware platform with the Mayhem Signature-Edition PortaPack H4M Pro interface for standalone use without needing a computer for many common workflows.
Important Battery Information
The battery is not included. This PortaPack H4M Pro version is designed to use a removable 18650 cylindrical lithium battery. A compatible 18650 battery is required for portable operation.
Mayhem Signature-Edition PortaPack H4M Pro Updates
The PortaPack H4M Pro introduces important hardware updates, including a redesigned battery connector that replaces the previous 104050 soft-pack lithium polymer battery format with support for an 18650 cylindrical lithium battery. This makes battery replacement easier and improves long-term usability.
With input from the Mayhem team, the PCB silkscreen has been redesigned and an anti-counterfeiting pattern has been added to the front PCB. The back PCB also includes additional Mayhem firmware developer names, making this a distinctive Signature-Edition version for Mayhem users and HackRF enthusiasts.
Improved Layout and Practical Design
The speaker and microSD card slot positions have been redesigned for improved usability. These changes make the H4M Pro more practical for portable SDR operation, firmware use, and everyday testing.
